To mark its 10th anniversary in a constantly evolving digital environment, the Global Prize innovates by opening up to a wider range of submission formats. The competition invites young professionals and academics under 35 to submit unpublished contributions on issues related to ethics and trust in finance, either in the form of essays (3’000-5’000 words) or in the form of videos (15-20 minutes). The brightest minds will be awarded the sum of USD 15’000 to be shared among the winners. For the first time, in partnership with our partner International Compliance Association (ICA), we are also offering full scholarships for the ICA Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC).

The contributions could be analytical in character or they could be proposals for practical projects. In all cases, they should meet three criteria: intellectual rigour, innovative ideas, and clear conclusions. Best papers submitted in previous editions are available in this site. The Prize aims to encourage and promote:

  • awareness of the fundamental role of ethics in the world of finance;
  • precise identification of ethical issues in financial activities and institutions, in both the public and private sectors;
  • proposals for implementation of initiatives and projects concerning teaching and regulating for ethics in finance;
  • highlighting the ethical challenges of technological developments in finance;
  • understanding of the role of ethics to support a more sustainable financial system.
