For this 10th edition, after much discussion, the jury decided to award three joint first prizes. The three winners are :

  • “Emissions Rights and Environmental Justice” by Mr Paul Forrester

  • “Market Making or Market Manipulators of High-Frequency Trading ?” by Dr Bessie O’Dell

  • “Trust and the Societal Construct in European Capital Markets Growth” by Mr Micael Veras dos Santos

Award Ceremony

The Award Ceremony of the 10th Global Prize Ethics & Trust in Finance, hosted by EFPA Europe, took place in Brussels on 30 September 2025.

Many thanks to our prestigious guest, Guillaume Eliet (Euroclear) for his inspiring speech, in which he concluded that “ethics in finance is not just about avoiding harm. It’s about preserving human judgment, protecting diversity of thought and ensuring accountability even in an age of intelligent machines.”

Thanks to Geert Gielens (Febelfin) for awarding the prizes to the winners and to Stefka Topalova (EFPA Europe), Stephane Bernard and Martin Gregson (Euroclear) for their precious support.
