MARIA TERESA HERRERA RENDON NEBEL

María Teresa Herrera Rendón Nebel is a professor at the Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla. She has worked as a professor at different universities in Paris and at the HEG d’Yverdon. She holds a degree in economics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, graduated in 1995. She holds a PhD in economics and social sciences from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland, degree received in 2003.
She also completed post-doctorate stay at the Institut d’Haut Etudes Internationale et du Développement in Geneva, Switzerland.
She is the director of the Journal Ethics, Economics and Commons, a founding member of the Human Development and Capability Association and member of the Mexican National System of Researchers.
Her current fields of research are on the moral responsibility and multidimensional poverty. She has about 40 refereed journal and book publications.
